We have been engaged in Uganda for many years. It is our big ambition to continue this cooperation with and support of our local project partners also in the future. This makes “awamu – zusammen für Uganda e.V.” so relevant! The establishment of the association was an important step to enable us to assign tasks and to institutionalize our work in a certain way.

“awamu” is a word in one of the languages in Uganda (Luganda) and means “together”.

To build something together, to create sustainable prospects together, to develop solutions and improve personal living conditions step by step. These are the targets of our work for Uganda.
