Approximately 50 % of the Ugandan people do not have access to clean water. Currently the costs for a well amount to approximately 1300 Euro. So far about 200 wells have been built in the region around Masaka (as of 2020). All wells are built by local people together with local experts.

The aim is to build many more wells in this region, so that as many people as possible have access to clean water. Benefits are a decreasing child-mortality, lower risk of infectious diseases and shorter ways for water sourcing.
